MATTEL, EMS and RIM introduce the BlackBerry solution in Mauritania

Mauritania, Nouakchott, Dubai, UAE and Waterloo, ON - MATTEL SA, Emitac Mobile Solutions (EMS) and Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM) today announced the launch of the BlackBerry® solution to MATTEL customers in Mauritania. The BlackBerry solution brings together smartphones, software and services to allow easy, wireless access to email, phone, calendar, web, multimedia and other business and lifestyle applications. With this launch, MATTEL customers will now be able to enjoy the freedom and productivity benefits of using BlackBerry® smartphones to stay connected to people and information while on the go. The first smartphone to be available to MATTEL customers is the BlackBerry® Bold™ 9000 smartphone.

It also features a rich set of multimedia capabilities, including a 2 megapixel camera with video recording and an advanced media player for music, videos and pictures.
