There are a number of milestones that have been achieved by the EMS team. The year 2011 was planned as “the year of winning” and indeed it was. EMS – brand repositioning: Firstly EMS went through a 360 brand re-positioning, which was in line with the new vision, mission and values. An aggressive brand strategy was developed to revitalize the existing EMS brand and gain instant brand visibility to create high brand recall. EMS launched its new brand logo identity, new brand colors and a solid brand positioning to differentiate and highlight itself in the existing market dynamics. The brand EMS has been positioned as “the smartphone partner” that depicts the vision of the company which is to be the partner of choice in smartphone and mobility solutions. This highlights the strength EMS has which is its relationships with 87 mobile operator partners and 118 distribution partners in 53 countries in the world.
The new logo has definitely contributed in achieving the leadership position for the company to achieve its business objectives that were set for the year 2011. Some of the highlights are:

· EMS’s places first press ad in the leading daily newspapers in 2011 followed by 2 more press ads. To support the BlackBerry launch of Playbook and BlackBerry Bold.
· EMS launches its new corporate website increasing website traffic by 200% thus increasing brand awareness and recall
· Launch of its first certified repair center for smartphones in MEA region
· Launch of 5 new portals to support automation for better, smoother and faster processes in the company. To enable customers to track orders, pay online, get trainings, marketing materials etc.
